This Privacy Policy describes how Perchance AI ("the App", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our iOS application.

1. Information We Collect

Anonymous Authentication: We use Firebase Anonymous Authentication to assign a unique anonymous identifier to each user. This identifier does not contain any personally identifiable information (name, email, phone number, etc.).

Usage Analytics: We collect anonymous usage data through Firebase Analytics to improve the App experience. This includes:

• App opens and session duration
• Features used (e.g., number of image generations, styles selected)
• Device type, OS version, and app version
• Crash reports and performance metrics

Text Prompts: The text prompts you enter are sent to our server to generate images. Prompts are processed in real-time and are not stored on our servers after the image is generated.

Generated Images: Generated images are stored locally on your device. We do not store copies of your generated images on our servers beyond the temporary processing period (typically less than 5 minutes).

Subscription Data: Subscription purchase and status data is managed by Apple and RevenueCat. We receive anonymized subscription status information to provide premium features. We do not have access to your payment details.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide the image generation service
• To manage your subscription status and premium access
• To improve the App through anonymous usage analytics
• To diagnose and fix technical issues
• To comply with legal obligations

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We share data only with the following service providers, strictly for the purposes described:

• Firebase (Google): Anonymous authentication, analytics, remote configuration. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• Cloudflare: AI image generation processing. Subject to Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
• RevenueCat: Subscription management. Subject to RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
• Apple: App distribution and payment processing. Subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.

4. Data Storage and Security

Generated images and preferences are stored locally on your device. Anonymous analytics data is stored on Firebase servers (Google Cloud) with industry-standard encryption. We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

5. Data Retention

• Anonymous user identifiers: Retained until you delete the App
• Analytics data: Retained for up to 14 months, then automatically deleted
• Text prompts: Not retained after image generation is complete
• Generated images: Stored only on your device; deleted when you remove them or uninstall the App

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Delete your locally stored data by uninstalling the App
• Request deletion of your anonymous analytics data by contacting us
• Opt out of analytics by disabling analytics in your device settings
• Cancel your subscription at any time through your device Settings

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with data, we will delete it.

8. International Users

Your data may be processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. By using the App, you consent to the transfer of your data to these jurisdictions.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
